Watapana Weekend is organised with family, dance, music and connection in mind. These are the same values we stand for at Watapana Dance Company. André always wanted to organise a event that would make everyone feel at home.

Being born in a very big family on Aruba, family gatherings was a weekly thing. During the school vacations even daily. Everyone would get together at his grandma's place and connect as a family by means of conversations, food, laughter, music and the occasional live music by the uncles.
At our event we want to achieve the same feeling. Where dancers and musicians come together for that one special weekend in the year and create memories together.
